When I first began studying astrology, I found it extremely hard to learn from online resources or dry, outdated books. I initially began studying to learn more about my relationship, but I was never able to find a source that:

  1. Explained things simply in modern relationship terms; and
  2. Had descriptions that felt right to me

Therefore, I created this guide!

Alex breaks things down in a logical, clear way that’s easy for even a beginner to read. It did take me a few weeks to work my way through this book, but it’s a text that I’ve referenced many times since then as I learn more about astrology. I like to say that this book is for beginner and intermediate students. You should have a beginner’s grasp on astrology (and generally know how the chart is laid out), but you don’t have to be incredibly familiar with every planet and house in order to grasp these concepts. On the flip side, if you’re an advanced student, then I recommend looking at the table of contents to see if these topics are of interest to you.

Absolutely! While much of astrology is gender-based, what matters is whether you tend to identify with masculine or feminine energy (regardless of your sexuality). I recommend taking each section at a time and looking at what energy you feel drawn to, based on the planet and house.
