I really do feel like more of us are waking up to this part of ourselves, and at the same time, more of us are finding each other.

And that second part means so much to me.

Because witchcraft can be such a solitary practice. You can spend years reading, experimenting, having strange experiences, wondering if anyone else is noticing the same things you are.

And then you find each other.

I’m so grateful for what this community is becoming. There’s something incredible about watching people come together, compare notes, try things, get braver in their practices, and start discovering what they’re actually capable of.

We’re on this journey together. And I have no idea exactly where it leads (because yeah, you can’t see in the dark), which might be my favorite part.

The Hearth Mysteries have officially begun inside The Shadow Society, and you can still join us through September 4.

I feel like the longer I practice witchcraft, the

And weirdly, also the less interested I am in there being one correct way to do any of this.

These are just things that have become true for me through my own practice. You might have had completely different experiences — which is kind of what makes witchcraft interesting.

Anyway, I could make approximately 700 more of these.

I LOVE the kind of witchcraft that requires me to clear my evening, drag half the cabinet onto the floor, and forget what time it is.

I just cannot do that every time I want to feel like a witch. 😂

So lately I’ve been sneaking witchcraft into things that were happening anyway. Perfume becomes glamour magic, or my shower gets a second job. And my bedtime routine got completely witchified.

That last one has been working SO well, I wrote the whole thing down. 🌙

Inside The Hearth Mysteries, we’ll spend four weeks learning to communicate with the living spirit of the home, working with the sacred flame of Hestia, and eventually following that flame inward during our live initiation.

Plus a guest lecture on kitchen witchcraft + cookery magic, our live Practice Hall, and a closing coven fire circle with flame divination.

Basically, September is going to be very busy at the hearth.

This year’s Sturgeon Moon comes with a lunar eclip

This year’s Sturgeon Moon comes with a lunar eclipse in Pisces.

And Pisces has a way of making everything feel blurry until suddenly it doesn’t.

It may feel abrupt, because eclipses tend to rip the cover off rather than gently lift the corner. But once you can finally see what has been happening, you can stop moving inside the same old current and choose differently.

Next month brings the Harvest Moon, a moon of gathering, release, and turning toward the dark season.
